Long before I was designing homes in Florida, I was growing up on Long Island - where creativity, hard work, and small business were a way of life for my family.

Before stepping into design full time, I spent years in the corporate world—supporting large-scale events, working across multiple areas of marketing, and managing channel sales programs throughout North and Latin America. I probably shouldn’t be surprised that I eventually landed here as an entrepreneur. I’ve always been a creative soul, and in many ways, I was following in my parents’ footsteps without even realizing it.​​

My father was a true entrepreneur - he ran delis, flipped homes, and opened a small discount store in the village of Patchogue, where our family was immersed in the local community. My mom was always right by his side, especially in the delis. They worked hard, and they kept all six of us kids in the mix. By my teenage years, I was swinging a hammer beside my dad - learning not just how things were built, but why they mattered.

 

Watching my dad flip homes was where I first saw the full scope of real estate - spotting potential in undervalued properties, doing the hands-on work to restore them, and feeling the reward of watching them come back to life. That early exposure sparked a lifelong love for homes - building, restoring, renovating, and ultimately, designing them.

Some chapters later, I married a childhood friend - an incredibly talented craftsman who can build just about anything I dream up. Over the years, he’s brought many of my design ideas to life, adding a whole new layer of hands-on craftsmanship to the work I do today.

I’m also a proud mom to a wildly creative teenager - whose ideas and self-expression don’t always follow a straight line, but definitely show signs of that same entrepreneurial spark. Whether it’s a sketch, a bold opinion, or the latest concept he’s dreaming up, I’m reminded daily that creativity runs deep - and often starts right at home.

 

At the end of the day, there’s nothing better than transforming a space into something that just fits - and helping people feel more connected to their home. Whether it’s a full renovation or a simple refresh, I’m always honored when clients invite me into their homes and trust me to help shape the way they live in them.
